Math Class in Upward Bound

I have always been pretty good at Math but, the math teacher in Upward Bound has helped me more in a short then my own math teacher at school. He makes it easier to understand, by allowing us to do different activities. He even lets us be the teacher sometimes. Now, we are putting everything that we learned in math into a project that is own our life expierences.

Are good in Math?

If so, do you tutor others?

If your not at math how do you recieve help?

Expanding My Vocabulary in Literature

One of my summer classes in Upward Bound is literature and it is helping me to expand my vocabulary. I believe that I am a good writer but I always had difficulties to find new words to use to replace common words that I am normally use. This class has introduced possible words that can be on the SAT. I am very appreciative about this class now that the teacher is giving us activities to help us actually to know how to use the word. I mean just because we get the definition that doesn't that I know how to use the word or that I complete understand of the word. I think this class should be more of a vocabulary class than a literature class, but at least the teacher is trying to do a little bit of both.

What challenges do you have in writing?

Have you taken or are you taking classes to help you with that issue?

Do you any advice for me, so that I can improve my writing?

Reviewing an Article on Peter La Marche

Passionate heart petals
from:http://www.artprintissues.com/2011/02/creating-fine-art-collectors-with-passion.html
The blog is for people who want to take their artistic passion and making profits from your artwork. They gave an example of an none artist but a designer, Peter La Marche, who started a business of his own from his passions about designing. Then, it goes talking La Marche moving his passion from a personal level to become a public passion. I think that the article should use time to talk about how La Marche helped inspired them or other modern day artists.

I give this article a "B".

Why did I choice to be an Artist

I chose to be a visual artist because I feel that it is a way to express myself. I have a big imagination and I want the world to see it in their eyes as well. Without my artist ability I think that I would not be as unique as I am with my abilities. In other words, I would pretty much an average Joe.

How do you express yourself?

Why is expressing yourself important to you?

Do you view yourself as an individual of everyone else? Why or why not?

My Artistic Career Choice

Once I finish school I plan on being a story board illustrator for hopefully for an anime gaming company. I wanted be one for a few years now. It combines both things that I love draw and video games. I always wanted to not have a job but a career, ecspecially one that I believe that I will enjoy doing for the rest of my life. Then, once I get a pretty good understanding about the gaming business I plan on starting my own business.

Are any career choices that you want to achieve?

Do you plan on starting your business?Or do you already have one?If so what?

My Artist College Choice

From: kcai.edu
I college that I would like attend is Kansas City Art Institute. I wanted attend this institute because i am passionate about art. KCAI is known to be a small school, that is one reason why I would to go there. I don't want to be like just a number a big college. I want my teachers to know me. This college also allows their students to present their artwork to the public in thier art gallery. I like schools with diversity and having things to do in the city but at the same I don't want to be in an area with too much stuff going on.

What colleges do you guys want to attend?

Do ya'll have any other college suggestions for me?
